Gung Hay Fat Choy, everyone!

Hope this e-newsletter finds you warm and well. Seeing as I completely missed writing to y'all through the crazy holidays, I have decided to get a head start on the CHINESE new year. At least then I have the appearance of being on the ball. And the several inches of snow collected on my fire escape and sub-freezing Fahrenheit tells me it's time to hunker down and write to you again. I apologize for my 3-month absence!

Many thanks once again for your support through 2004. I am grateful for each email and positive vibe you have sent. It has really paid off, because 2005 promises to be challenging and exciting! I wish each one of you joy, courage, and peace for the new year.

II. INHERITANCE ON DVD

Inheritance from Scotopia Pictures is now available on DVD! You can catch my song Lose Myself In You (co-written with Erik Aho) during the starting and ending credit rolls of this feature-length indie suspense film. Another song I wrote, Never Shake Me in the middle of the film somewhere, is sung to demented perfection by Mia Boyle. You can find it at most video stores, and online at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Tower, etc. You can also rent it on Netflix.com, if you are a subscriber. What'cha waiting for??

III. APPEARANCE IN AUTUMN VIDEO

This has been out for a while, i just keep forgetting to post it...i appear briefly in my girl Autumn's video for her ballad, Worth Your While. It was shot last spring and is a lovely postcard from NYC featuring Central Park and other points in the city, with cameos from yours truly and other band members...click to enjoy!

IV. SOUL FOOD

This is a new feature of this newsletter for 2005: what is feeding my soul right now, inspiring me, or what is something cool i want to make sure my friends, family, and fans are exposed to? This month, it is a beautiful album called Strawberry Lover (just in time for Valentine's Day!) by my friend Jess Klein. When I grow up I want to be like Jess!! :) Look for it February 1st on the Rykodisc label. Her songwriting and performance on this record are amazing, and it is so refreshing to hear an artist who REALLY sings her heart out...preview or pre-order it here: rykodisc-media.com/jessklein/

ALSO: the book The War of Art by Steven Pressman. A healthy kick in the ass for any and every creative person. Got me back to writing every day.

Once again, thank you SO MUCH for your support...keep warm and dry this winter, and may many blessings be yours in the year ahead.

Celia
